Pants – Harem ATS
Ask a non-bellydancer to describe belly dance costume and chances are, harem pants would be mentioned somewhere - but funnily enough, these days they're less frequently worn than other alternatives.
Maybe it's because harem pants aren't flattering to any figure - who wants to make their thighs or butt look bigger than they really are? However, there are times when they make sense, to reflect the style or ethnicity of the dance being performed.
